Problem Statement

Supporting children with special educational needs takes patience, understanding and a range of teaching resources tailor-made for each child’s requirements. “Special Pals” is a cross-platform application which tries to improvise a child’s cognitive learning skills by utilizing gamification techniques to explain simple concepts of numbers, colors and nature.

What do Learning apps lack?

Catering to the needs of children with autism, dyslexia, down syndrome, ADHD or other learning difficulties. Studies highlight the problems with existing apps for students with special needs, their teachers, and their parents and this application works towards helping such children and the people who support them.

The Solution:

Features such as Stories, Drawing, Quizzes and Puzzles are present in this app. Provides an easy to use interface with rich animations thereby optimizing User Experience. Splash.screen.mp4

Stories – The user can select from a range of stories to read.

Matching objects with their colors – Makes a sound if correct.

Learning about animals – Facts, trivia and sounds of different wild animals in the jungle.
